Bridge Professional Staffing LLC is a New Mexico based firm working with professionals on a temporary and direct-hire basis for positions and projects in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Legal and Business Operations.  

Job Profile: Staff Accountant (Construction/ Engineering Firm)  in Albuquerque, NM.

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our Senior Accountant with day-to-day financial operations, project-level cost tracking, and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Project Accounting: Assist in tracking project costs, labor hours, direct expenses, and consultant fees.
• Billing & AR: Help manage milestone-based client billings and monitor accounts receivable.
• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, manage expense reimbursements, and handle payments.
• General Ledger: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
• Reporting: Support the preparation of internal financial statements and budget variances.

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of general accounting experience (architecture or professional services background is a plus).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or Deltek).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience

Monday - Friday position / Direct Hire
